The drama opens in the throne room of the Becclepotamian royal palace. Maximillian McMetalmug and his daughter Deloris are making preparations for a group of visitors to view the royal crown. But while they are out of the room Golden Ears creeps in and steals the crown so that he can claim to be the king of Becclepotamia. Maximillian knows that only one person can recover the crown - 007 James Bond - but when he rings the secret agents HQ all the agents are out on missions except the very inept 001/2. 001/2 gets the mission but the only secret weapon that Q has left is an untested powder called 'the love bug.' It turns super-villains into teddy bears if they say 'love' 6 times in 1 minute after the powder has been sprinkled on them. Will 001/2 be up to the job? Will the crown be recovered? Is it possible to get a super-villain to say 'love' 6 times? Inevitably there is a happy ending!
