Dilly the Daffodil - Spring and Easter. A story for spring and Easter about a Daffodil bulb who discovers that patience is the way to achieve great things.

Dodger is thirsty - The water of life- A simple story for nursery/pre-school children that emphasises the importance of water for all creatures. Can lead to discussion and teaching on what it means to be thirsty and how Jesus is the water of life.

Farmer Jack - Harvest A silly story for harvest about a farmer who tries to make his seeds grow

Growing toast - Harvest Another silly harvest story about a farmer who decides that he wants to grow toast.

Hefalump's birthday- Christmas It's Hefalump's birthday but all his friends seem to have forgotten! a story for younger children about the importance of remembering the real meaning of Christmas.

Hefalump's big decision - Thinking of others. Hefalump is on his way to 'the best looking Hefalump competition' when he hears a cry for help. What should he do? Help someone and get dirty or go to the competition?

Losing Bluie - Bereavement. Bluie is Jamie's favourite teddy bear but one day, after a trip to the shops, Bluie is missing. Jamie's friend Peter sees Bluie in a charity shop in town but just as Jamie gets there bluie has been bought by someone else. Seeing how pleased the girl is with her new teddy, Jamie decides that Bluie will be happy with her and stops his Mum trying to get him back. This is a story I have often used with children in bereavement situations.

Mr Sleepy's sleepless day - The power of example. Mr Sleepy has worked the night shift and needs a day's sleep. But try as he might there are too many things to wake him up. This is a story about the power of 'example.' The teller needs to yawn a lot and should start the story by claiming that they can make everyone in the audience do something against their will. It is guaranteed that everyone will yawn before the story ends!

Mr Worry's fishing trip - Do not worry. Mr Take-it-as-it-comes has invited Mr Worry on a fishing trip but there is so much to worry about will he ever get there?

The little signpost - Pointing to Jesus, John the Baptist. The little signpost is very proud but can't understand why people only glance at him and don't stop to admire him. Eventually though he discovers what an important job he is doing.

The little star - Christmas. God is choosing a star for a very special job. Only one star is not auditioning because she thinks she is too small. Everyone is surprised when God makes his choice but will the little star spoil her chances of shining? A Christmas story for younger children.
